What's Happening Now?
As we do most Sundays, today's one for a new recipe. Dinner will be a bit of a lighter one, with a vegan "egg" salad sandwich and cucumber/tomato/basil salad. Although the weather isn't all that warm yet, the fresher flavours are quite welcome!
I have a virtual consultation booked with the surgical clinic on Monday morning. Not because they haven't given me the information that I need (they provide so much at every step of the way), but there are a few small things I'm not entirely clear on (i.e. how much more protein is "more"?) and I would like more information about the anaesthesia.
There is just one more week to go until I am off, which is helping to mitigate - just a little - the worst of the currentless-than-ideal state I am in. Fortunately, the closer I get, the more upside I seem to be able to appreciate.
