While there was a time in my life that I played a whole lot of computer games, I really haven't much in the last 25 years.
I don't think it was any one thing that did it: I mostly just lost interest playing them and came to find noodling with the computer itself more interesting.
Trying out new and interesting Linux distributions or window managers and desktop environments - or when I'd invariably mess up the Linux install enough that I'd get annoyed and install Windows again - customize that with different shells, new icons, hex editing, and custom marlett.ttf.
There is one game that seems to have stuck with me over the years, and that's Transport Tycoon (& Deluxe) and its open successor, OpenTTD.
I guess it's another way in which I'm a bit of a trans stereotype: I do love a good train!
