I don't think I was really paying enough attention when I scheduled these appointments. It only occurred to me when I woke up this morning that by booking these two face-related appointments on the same day, I was running the risk of some unpleasantness!
- Earlier this afternoon was a visit to the dentist for a cleaning. By some miracle, for what must be the first time in the years since coming out, I was not misgendered. So that was good. On the other hand, it was a fairly aggressive cleaning. I suppose I can't argue with results though.
- Later, as it is every Tuesday: electrolysis. While I'm quite used to the pain of electro now, I'd still say that I can think of less painful ways to spend time weekly.
With these two appointments combined, in a way, I am even more surprised that I was not misgendered. While progress in electro has been really good, I still had the requisite two days of growth (where it still grows), and went in expecting it.
